The westbound upper lanes of Spillway Road over the dam will be closed Wednesday morning to bring new equipment to the Reservoir control tower and the lower eastbound lanes will become two-way most of the day.

Officials from the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District announced that the closing of the upper lane of Bob Anthony Parkway, better known as Spillway Road, will happen at 9 a.m. and is set to end around 4 p.m. the same day. The lower road will be converted to accommodate two-way traffic.

“Drivers should plan ahead and expect delays. Please be careful, slow down and respect the workers in this area,” a release from the PRVWSD said.
