  • Mark is survived by his wife of 42 years, Phyllis Ammons Givens, daughter Ashley (Billy) Bieliauskas, sons Tyler and Dylan Givens, grandsons Austin and Bayley Bieliauskas, sisters Keitha (Bob) Whitaker, and Peggy (Woody) Hoover; sisters- and brothers-in-law Linda and RichardCopeland, Bob and Penny Ammons, and Mike and Patsy Ammons. Mark is preceded in death by his parents Sybil Grace Hinson and Foy Winfred Givens.  Memorials may be sent to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or Broadmoor Baptist Church Missions Offering.  A funeral service was held Monday, March 13 at Broadmoor Baptist Church Chapel.  
  • Tracy C. Byas, 58, of Canton, died Thursday, March 16, 2017.  A Funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Breeland Funeral home. Burial was in Canton Cemetery.

    Tracy was a retired District Administrator for the Mississippi State Health Department. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He was devoted to his wife (his heart) and sons. He was hard working, highly educated, caring and loved a good laugh. He always looked for the good in people.
  • Doris Haddix Dodd of Madison, died March 13, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 20, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Harvey and Eva Haddix and grew up in Aberdeen, Mississippi.
  • Lucius E. Fouchè, 80, of Madison, died on Sunday, March 12, 2017.  A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 15, at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison. Fouchè was the fourth of five children born to Travis and Lucy Fouchè of Benton, Mississippi.
  • William (Bill) Lloyd Cox, 78, of Madison, died on March 9, 2017, in Madison, MS. He was a member of Northminster Baptist Church. Mr. Cox, was born to Louis Cox and Alice Sanders Cox in Forrest City, Arkansas.

    He graduated from Forrest City High School in 1956 and attended the University of Mississippi where he had an academic and basketball scholarship. 
  • Michael Joseph Czora of Madison died Thursday, March 2, 2017 following a long battle with cancer.  He was born in Erie County, N.Y. to Virginia Niedbala and Donald Czora. 
  • William (Bill) Lloyd Cox, 78, died March 9, 2017, in Madison, MS. He was a member of Northminster Baptist Church. Mr. Cox, (Bill) as many called him, was born to Louis Cox and Alice Sanders Cox in Forrest City, Arkansas. He graduated from Forrest City High School in 1956 and attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) for the next four years where he had an academic and basketball scholarship.
  • Janet Nelson Leach, 66, of Madison passed away on March 7, 2017. She was born on July 14, 1950, in Moss Point, MS to Marvin and Eldora Ehlers Nelson. Janet enjoyed a 22 year career with the Mississippi Development Authority Tourism Division serving as the Program Manager for Golf.
  • Jack Earl Tharp, 80, of Madison, died on February 27, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.   He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years,  Gladys Nell Tharp, mother, Pauline Rutland Tharp and his brother Don Tharp. He is survived by his son, Dr. Greg Tharp (Karen) his daughter, Penni Tharp Davis (Chris) and four beloved grandchildren Tara Tharp, Jack G. Tharp, Peyton Davis, and Jake Davis
  • Josephine Maire McInvale, of Ridgeland, wife of William T. McInvale (deceased) passed away Feb. 24, 2017 at her home in Chateau Ridge in Ridgeland, Mississippi surrounded by her family and loved ones.
